Verify the destination
Check the employer name, vacancy reference and final domain. Be cautious when an application immediately moves to private messaging or a free email address.
Protect sensitive information
Never share a bank PIN, password or one-time code. Submit identity and qualification documents only when the real process requires them and the destination is verified.
Watch for payment requests
Do not pay to reserve a vacancy, guarantee an interview, buy required equipment from a named seller or unlock application results.
